About Exposure Photography

Photographer with over 10 years experience in commercial photography in Phnom Penh & Cambodia

Hospitality & Commercial Photographer in Cambodia

I’m a hotel, resort, food, and commercial photographer based in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, Cambodia. For over 10 years, I’ve worked with hotels, resorts, and restaurants to create images that help attract bookings and strengthen their visual presence online.

My work focuses on what actually drives results. Not just taking good photos, but creating images that fit how guests search, compare, and decide. From first impressions on booking platforms to the final decision on a hotel website, every image plays a role.

I’m constantly refining how I work. That means testing new ideas, improving lighting and composition, and paying attention to how images perform in real situations. The goal is always the same: produce visuals that work for the business, not just the portfolio.

Experience in the Hospitality Industry

With a decade of experience working across Cambodia’s hospitality industry, I understand how hotels operate and what they need from photography. I’ve worked with boutique properties, independent hotels, and established brands, collaborating directly with owners, managers, and marketing teams.

I understand brand guidelines, timelines, and the importance of consistency across platforms. Whether the images are used on OTAs, hotel websites, or social media, they need to feel cohesive and aligned with the property’s identity.

I also understand the realities on-site. Working around guests, managing light throughout the day, and capturing spaces at their best without disrupting operations.

Photography That Supports Bookings

My approach is simple. Every image should help the property present itself clearly and confidently to potential guests.

That includes:

  • Strong room and suite photography that shows space, layout, and key selling points
  • Atmosphere shots that give a sense of experience, not just appearance
  • Food and detail photography that supports branding and storytelling
  • Exterior and drone work that shows location and context

The aim is to create a complete set of images that work together across all platforms.

Attention to Detail

From styling food to preparing a room before a shoot, I pay attention to the small details that make a difference in the final image. These details often separate average photography from images that actually convert.

Lighting, composition, and timing are all carefully considered to make sure each image represents the property at its best.

Versatile Approach with a Marketing Focus

One of my strengths is versatility. I’m not limited to one type of photography. I regularly work across hotel interiors, exteriors, food, product, and people. This allows me to produce a full visual set for a property without needing multiple specialists.

Alongside photography, I also work as a web designer and developer in the hospitality industry. That means I understand branding, marketing, and SEO in a practical way. I know how images are used on websites, how they affect user behaviour, and how they contribute to search visibility.

This combined perspective helps me create photography that fits into the bigger picture. Not just images that look good, but images that support how a business presents itself online and turns views into bookings.
