Hotel Photography Project:

Capri by Fraser, Phnom Penh

I was selected by Capri by Fraser, Phnom Penh (CBF) to photograph their brand-new hotel for its opening, as my portfolio and shooting style aligned closely with their modern, youthful brand identity. The objective from the beginning was to produce a set of images that presented a stylish, cool, urban hotel that fits perfectly with the Capri by Fraser brand.

The project involved two main parts: detailed architectural and interior photography, and a full day of lifestyle shooting with young, fashionable models chosen specifically to reflect CBF’s energetic, design-driven image. These lifestyle shots were essential in showing how guests use the spaces and in bringing a vibrant personality to the property.

There were several challenges throughout the shoot. Photographing the restaurant at night during service required balancing mixed lighting, capturing natural activity, and maintaining the ambience without losing clarity. Another challenge was lighting the models across different locations throughout the property—each with its own colour temperature, reflective surfaces, and spatial limitations. Fortunately, with extensive experience in lighting people in varied environments, we were able to achieve consistent, flattering results that matched the hotel’s aesthetic.

This project was an exciting opportunity to support CBF’s opening with strong, brand-aligned visual storytelling.
